
Nader (Karim Sobouti), was born in Theran, Iran, in 1961; after high school he came to Italy, Milan, where he attended the faculty of architecture at the Politecnico. In Milan he developed a great interest for antique carpets and began his merchant activity by openings in 1994 its first gallery, in via della Moscova. Today, Nader, he’s perceived as one of the top experts of antique carpets and art weaving in Italy.
From his new gallery in Santa Marta he now plans to cover new kind of art expressions such as American Native Weaving, katsina sculture, as shown in this new calatlogue, conceived to become a point of reference for collectors native-american and contemporary art works.
